什麼是分詞？

分詞來自於動詞，分詞可分為「現在分詞」與「過去分詞」兩種，我們來看看兩者有何不同吧！

1. 現在分詞

現在分詞的形式為「動詞 + V-ing」，通常用於進行式中。

作為形容詞時，有「讓人感覺…」的意思，用在形容「事物本身」。

The Danish girl is a really touching movie.

《丹麥女孩》真的是一部非常令人感動的電影。

這邊會用現在分詞，是因為《丹麥女孩》這部電影讓人很感動，所以把電影「《丹麥女孩》」放在句首作為主詞，並使用現在分詞來形容這部電影。

2. 過去分詞

過去分詞即為「動詞的過去完成式」，有被動的含義。

作為形容詞時，有「人感覺事物如何」的意思，通常表示什麼事物讓主詞 (人) 有什麼感受。

I’m really touched by the movie the Danish Girl.

電影《丹麥女孩》真的令我非常感動。

在這個句子中，由於是「《丹麥女孩》使『我』感動」，所以把「我」放在句首當作主詞，而該句要表達的是「人感覺事情如何」，故使用過去分詞。

Allen 對 Jenny 一點都沒興趣。他甚至根本不喜歡女生。

在餐廳工作可是一項十分疲憊的工作。

美國國慶的煙火真的超級美麗，讓人忍不住著迷！

我爸爸被隔壁的噪音搞得很煩躁。

在判定應該使用過去分詞或過去分詞時，可以記住這個小原則：

使用現在分詞時，有「主動」之意，句子的主詞是「事物」，表示「事物給人的感覺」；

相對的，在使用過去分詞時，有「被動」之意，句子的主詞是「人」，表示「人因為事物而感到…」
